Greetings,
Very happy to report that we have rain, the first since early September,
On a more serious note though, on my last inspection which for various reasons was over a month ago, noticed a few bees with DWV, and two empty queen cells on the front of a frame,
don't panic don't panic!!
placed a varroa strip under the frames as instructed , took a little peek last night at dusk and the healthy bees were busy ejecting the deformed bees,
Stranger still is the fact that the pear trees are in full blossom as well as the orange trees, normaly they flower in early spring,
Adios.
