Queen Introduction

i made up a nuc 11 days ago with just brood and young bees from an established hive. I had purchased a new queen and she was introduced to the nuc having removed her attendants. Two days later I removed the plastic cap on the introduction cage, knocked down a queen cell that had been started and left them to it. I checked this morning, 9 days later. Most of the sealed brood has now emerged, the cells are polished, the bees are good tempered and bringing in pollen and nectar. No sign of eggs though. Should I be worried, should she have started laying by now?

Polished cells, pollen and good tempered bees are all encouraging signs.
Wait another week.

Try this thread. Perhaps the suppliers are one and the same, or their supplier is common.
