24 + a few nucs....this has to stop!
I took out my batch of grafting this weekend and still surprised to see the variation in development timings. Luckily I caged the cells on day 14 and had 3 emerge in day 15, 2 on day 16 and another 3 on day 17. All grafts were done using the same frame of egg which had been placed in the hive 4 days b4. Cells were raised & left to mature in the top box of a demaree. Probably heat and feed would cause this?

There’s always a bit of variation and although you’ve used the same frame of eggs/larvae there not all laid up uniformly. Other than that it’s down to larvae you select and what you’ve already suggested. Ian
