Queen Cell attack

Today whilst checking cell builder colony I noticed a worker bee had decided to attack one of the cells and its sting was stuck in the wax! It had stung the capped end. I thought that only the first Queen killed the remaining cells?

Nope.
Simply another misnomer of the use of "Queen".

Bees run the colony, collectively, n0t any superior insect.
Hark back to examples where QCs are present yet disappear on either
a environment change or Man interceding.
Away from Western influence other Cultures still today address
herself as "Mother"... way more accurate a descriptor.

They normally attack the sides of the Q cell (hence wrapping sides with foil to protect it frlom attack)
