I'm selling honey and beeswax candles to the locals, via my website, at the front door, in local fairs and delivered to the customers door (by me).

It's occurred to me I need public liability insurance, particularly for when people come to my house to collect, at fairs and for the use/consumption of my products.

Beyond beekeeping equipment and in-apiary activity, BBKA Public liability insurance only provides cover for fairs. Does anyone have any recommendation for insurance to cover my other activity?

My understanding is that the BBKA PL covers all sales of hive products wherever they are sold.
Your point about people coming to your door is different.
I’ve just renewed my house insurance and there is a question in the form which specifically asks if people come to my house on business.
My new policy covers this unlike my last one.

Thank you. I see you are correct Wax candles and honey are covered.
I will contact my property insurance company about people visiting my house to collect honey.

They tried to add £400 to mine when I declared it!
My new policy (including the clause about customers visiting the property) was actually cheaper than my former company. As far as insurance goes it really does pay to change regularly IMO.
