I would like to make up and put some pollen patties on a couple of my hives that are in need of a boost. However I am very aware of and will not compromise my bees by introducing anything that could harm them….apart from thymol, . oxaclic acid etc.
I do not have any saved pollen from my bees but have seen pollen advertised for sale, what are the risks of using it to make patties or would I be better off not bothering?
Cheers

Now the weather has changed to be honest I would just forget about it.

There are several sources of pollen now available and more coming every day or so.
