Thank you I will do, will it be OK in a large pot do you think?

Wildflower border prepared and seeds sown. Hundreds of seedlings transplanted still more to do, running out of room in the glasshouse

I wonder if this might work on a Wollemi Pine we have ?

I am sure it would, a normal cutting would probably work too if you pick a nice shoot.

I am not familiar with Wollemi Pine, but some pines grow with branches that get close too, or touch the ground, If that's the case with your pine you can just pin down and bury a branch.

But give it a go and good luck.

If you can finding the bocking strain of comfrey, it's a non invasive, non spreader...

Called serpantine layer. Use bottom branches because they root better than top branches. Has to do with plant hormones

Make sure it's a bucket with a good lid if it's anywhere near human habitation !

Oh yes. It's my job to decant it. I seem to be immune. Years of dealing with dog and cat doo doo :icon_204-2:

Or do what I used to do - comfrey in fifty gallon water butt with lid and a tap, fed with rain water from large shed roof. When full drew it off into second big butt ready for use. The butt with the comfrey in it got cleaned out annually in high summer when it had all dried out completely. Far less smelly.

Now that’s an idea. Thanks
