Hi Guys, I have uploaded pictures from my latest inspection (only 2nd solo inspection) into the photo album tab. Feel free to comment on what you see but please be kind I am keen to learn from any mistakes.

lots of bees?

it would help if next time you shake or brush off most of the bees, then the photos would show more of the comb and less of the bees (if you can persuade the other half to assist again). granted that when they're moving you get to see much more than we can in the instant of a photo.

Good advice, thank you I will try to remember that next time. Yes lots of bees and appear to be healthy. They have plenty of forage here as the hive is in the middle of an organic farm with several fields set aside for wild flower meadows.
