Says up to 50% off, most seems about 20% off to me. Good value though if you’re looking to buy it anyway.

20% is perfectly understandable and clear to me. It means “up to” 50%, but not more than, so could be anything from 0% to 50%.

Was not suggesting there’s any problem or wrong doing with their announcement. They could have said up to 70% off (there’s a queen press in cage for £1 instead of £3.60).
Just simply wanted to make others aware of the sale. I personally like their poly equipment.

I think il hold off for the maisimore sale 26.80 a nuc with top feeder,
Where would be the best deals for 2nd frames be ?

I bought Maise 2nd frames last year along with some nucs. As for delivery to Ireland they wouldn't deliver to NI so I got them delivered to Wales and got them collected.

I guess that’s obvious as you sell them on your website.
It is only obvious because I said I liked them, I also sell poly hives and don't like them at all, nor do I use any poly hives or 14x12 wooden hives, which I also sell and think are an abomination, so you see just by selling a type of beehive it is not really obvious that the person selling it actually likes it them self.

Well there is some contradiction here. You said in response to post 4 about Payne’s poly equipment.

‘So do I, the nuc boxes in particular’

This very much suggest you like Payne’s polyhives as well as the nuc but you particularly like nuc. In post 9 you state

‘I sell polyhives and don’t like them at all’

What don’t you like about the poly hives?

Hi Deeman, re: Irish deliveries, could use AddressPal (An Post). Many UK suppliers deliver free to UK mainland* i.e. to An Post in Hatfield and minimum postage to Irish home address from there. Often use it for Th~~~~~'s deliveries. Check parcel dimensions as there is a limit.
*For purchases above set limit.

Why? Weight?

Size of box and the size and shape of the frames in it, much prefer standard deep frames on single or double brood, much faster to work with more options for various manipulations. If choosing/wanting a bigger single box I would much sooner have the Commercial hive.

I prefer the wooden hives myself plus I enjoy making them.. personally I hate the sight of poly hives, in saying that I do have poly nucs from bees I bought the past couple of years and still use them ..

I partially went down the 16x10 route to the tune of about 70 hives a few seasons ago but have decided to revert to nationals because I prefer them and for simplicity sake, the last few will be sold off in the spring.
