cant find the previous posts i have read on this....

where is best value for pallets of jars

im after round 12oz

so far it seems to work out 35p per jar

35p a jar is more like single box prices.
Contact Compac - a pallet full of jars (in boxes) were a lot less than that

we used compak or first year and have ordered 4 boxes at a time since.
They do box sizes that are not on their web site if you phone them.

thanks all

the best price i can get on pallets boxed or loose is 40/35p respectively from the outlets suggested

re the bottlecompanysouth...is 275ml equivalent to 340g/12oz?

A bottlecompanysouth 1 lb (454 g) honey jar is 345 mL, equivalent to ~1.3 g/mL. So on that basis 275 mL of honey will weigh ~358 g.

According to Wikipedia, the density of honey is ~ 1.4 g/mL, and on that basis 275 mL of honey will weigh 385 g.

I don't think you will find a commercial jar that holds 340 g of honey without leaving a gap at the top.

Driver will want a flat hard surface run in to your bottle packing shed, although jars are supposed to be clean we wash ours in an industrial dishwasher to remove any unwanted guests!!

1/2 pallet charge adds £20 for pallet.

We are now being asked for quart jars..... £25 !!!!!!

Always remember to buy lids at the same time from the same supplier!
