Painting Poly Nucs

Looking for any advice on what type of paint to use to paint poly nucs

I was wondering could you use wood paint as cuprinol have some nice colours

I have used both masonry paint and Cuprinol 'Garden Shades'. Both seem OK - so far

Going to add a second question . Can I use the same on inside of feeder

Dulux "Smooth Weathershield" is excellent and is available in an wide range of colours ( mixed on order). It can be used in feeders, pour some fine sand (cage bird) into the feeder entrance immediately after the last coat has been applied.

Aldi metal paint is as good and cheaper (a lot!)

Yes, but limited availability (mid-August I was told) and they don't do that lovely Oxford blue ... but a darned sight cheaper.

They possibly prefer Prussian blue.
