I am amazed that you have not demanded your money back or at least complained vociferously to the retailer - not fit for purpose - "premium product" ? - yet folks prefer to use gaffer tape/duct tape rather than seek to solve the real problem - is that bonkers or what ????

mine zips securely

vertical first

right to left (from wearing it) next, tuck zip inside

then left to right and velcro

THEN, lift veil and look down to your chin and you can see the gap securely closed from within

Mine closes very securely and not had a problem dealing with some of the horrid locally adapted, so called native monsters that have swarmed to my apiaries.

Later models had thicker tags attached to the zip handles.

Point made, pointless provocative part removed.
Never had a problem with mine either.

Oh, thank you so much, we are so lucky on this forum to have someone with your expertise and knowledge of all bees in every corner the UK to keep us all in order not worthy

I hope this isn’t yet another thread becoming personal. I myself getting a bit fed up with this.

Yes me too, it's very childish. No idea why he had to even mention the 'local, so called' part at all as the discussion was about the Oz Armour suit and the zip fastening.

I hope so too, but get fed up with ‘no it alls’ thinking they are so superior.
May I request that if you feel that strongly against someone’s views you place them in your ‘ignore’ list, I am sure like me they won’t take offence? I have a few on my list and only recently realised that two had been banned, another being added shortly

Getting back to Ozarmour, I loved mine in the heat yesterday when knocking back swarm cells on a very aggressive hive prior to requeening. Unfortunately the suit doesn't work well when the wearer forgets to take his boots with him and the little blighters find that 5mm gap between the shoes and suit! That smarts!!!!

Did that last week. Large note now stuffed into smoker.

Have another read before getting all precious. It was you who felt the need to add some stupid nonsense about locally adapted and so called native.
Something you do on a regular basis and now you are spouting rubbish about superior and expertise and know it alls? No, just sick of stupid digs all the time.

Beforehand I order one can anyone advise on size as for height I get 3xl but on all other stats it's l or xl

So 187cm 6ft 2" slim but I have long arms haha don't really want to be squished like in a xl

In a buzz work wear xl is tight and xxl is a lot better, trying to make sure I get the right size

I'm a similar height (just over 190) and wear an Oz Armour XXL which is comfortable on the length and a little baggy on the frame (not necessarily a bad thing in a bee suit). Sleeves comfortably come over my wrists when standing, though obviously allowing for some shifting when moving even with the thumb loops.

Previously wore a Bee Basic XXXL which was always a little short on the legs, and ended up wearing gators with it after a few ankle stings.

I was very impressed with my Ozarmour until it developed a hole, which despite exhaustive efforts to find I was unable. I know I am hard on my equipment and Ozarmour may be great if you are not near bramble etc but I now have an Old Castle suit https://www.oldcastlefarmhives.com/ which seems to be a lot more rugged.
