Yesterday evening our 7yo granddaughter was with us while mum was out. When collected by mum Grandma noticed the car number plate needed cleaning so the task was duly completed.
On the way home a question from the back seat "mum, why did you have to clean the number plate?"
Answer "So that if I had an accident they could let grandma know"
Pause for consideration followed by "why would they phone grandma if you wet yourself?"
Daughter had to stop the car until the mirth subsided.
