If you find a job you love, you never work another day again!

Unfortunately after 23 years working with developers and wildlife I am now ticking off each day as I get closer to retirement. I should say its not the wildlife that that's the problem but developers are getting worse and worse or maybe my tolerance is getting less.

2 stroke motorbikes. Yamaha rd400, honda ns400r, kawasaki a7 avenger etc
Brit bikes. Royal Enfield but not the Indian ones though the new Continental GT looks great.

80's BMW cars, Used to be E30's but as I've grown up it's now E28.

Basically anything mechanical that can be taken apart and reassembled.

Bit of woodworking and making/building stuff for the house.

lovely two strokes :) ... an rd350 was my dream bike at college

How many days have you left before the final tick?

No, we don't have too much work with amphibians especially as there are no great crested newts in the county. I am an ecologist, working for a consultancy, my specialism is working with bats and birds (mainly barn owls)

Other interests worth a mention are Suzuki GT550, Triumph Tiger Sport, Autocruise Motorhome and a Myford Super7 Lathe. And some woodworking for the bees.

I have a 1991 Land Rover. It's probably 40% original, so the Land Rover badges are a violation of the Trade Descriptions Act. That and the archery keep me busy.

Let's keep it in 'pesticides and politics', eh chaps? They're both poisonous at the wrong place and time.

I forgot to add rugby to my list. We're season ticket holders at Saracens. Quite possibly the best club team in Europe, which would be nice if anything less than a 20 point lead didn't feel like skating on thin ice.

So you are one of the two Saracens fans? :)

I follow Rugby a fair bit, I was raised in Wales and fell in love with the game there moved to Leicester at 13 so a Tigers fan. Not much to shout about for us at the moment.

I think Leinster wont be giving you back your crown anytime soon, they look pretty handy.

Being a Saracens fan can be very frustrating, especially when the international games are on. Nine players go off to England, plus one to Wales and one to Scotland, and suddenly you're paying £50 to sit in the rain and watch the Second XV run out.

Add to that the way other Premiership teams (*Bath*) seem to think it's OK to send their Second XV to Allianz Park on a Saturday, and some to the excitement fades.

And yeah, Leinster.

I can see that being frustrating but surely better than the old days at Saracens? AT least you are always in the hunt for trophies these days.

On a side note a friend of my family used to play for them back in the amateur era, he also tells me that he scored against the all blacks playing for Hertfordshire, never sure if he is pulling my leg.

My hobbies include course and sea fishing, steam and stationary engines, rock climbing. I'm fortunate as I live near one of the best rock climbing areas in Britain. I also go to Cadwell Park to watch amateur bike racing at least 4/5 times a year.

I also love two strokes and had an X7 and an LC 350. Would love a Kettle or LC 500 in day-glo Marlborough colours.
