Last question for today.

I inherited 2 hives last year. On testing by our local club one had very high levels of nosema. In early March, I destroyed all brood frames-grim job for a new kid, and replaced all frames and foundation. Is there anything else that I should be doing? The colony was not re-queened.

Put Hivemaker's emulsified thymol mix in with their autumn syrup. Been loads of study on thymol as Nosema treatment and has had good results - have a look in the stickies section for the recipe
