Buying my first kit and was wondering which to buy leaning toward the jenter kit any advice would be appreciated

Our Association uses Jenter. Successfully. But it's more fiddly than Nicot.. the cell cups which hold the larvae in the Nicot are more convenient - you can use them as stand alone cell raising if you run out of supports... and the main suppliers sell lots of genuine spares cheaply.

I bought Nicot and used it at home this year with success. Prefer it.
(Beware of cheap ebay imitations.. some are not interchangeable with the genuine stuff and don't fit very well - an issue when you have bees to play with as well!.).

The one i was looking at was on the jenter site in germany thanks for reply

I was lucky enough to get one at the local auction for£5. Brand new! Extra parts from jenter web site seem reasonable price. Not used it yet, been to busy but will give it a try soon.

I have the Nicot kit, however after using it this year and the bees removing all the eggs from the cells I finally bit the bullet and grafted, I bought a pair of magnifing glasses with an LED on them. My first 'proper' graft I had 13/20 really nice QC's. Why not give grafting a go.

OK if your eyes focus...and your hand is steady..
