I’d forgotten all about it. Mice ate it over winter.
I've got a few, why would they be irritating? What do you reckon to Anal hives? I imagine they are quite irritating
have you tried Arnica ointment?I've got a few, why would they be irritating?
As everyone? knows that's ANEL...What do you reckon to Anal hives? I imagine they are quite irritating
Looks like a variation on the BS/Maisemore exterior box format. Parts of those two are interchangeable, so maybe OCFH use the same factory (wherever that is). As Jimmy said earlier, fragmentation of the poly nuc market helps no-one but the supplier, because although the extensions may be compatible, you wouldn't be able to stack a mixture of the three designs because one lid recess is round, another square, and the OCFH rectangular.quality is superb
If only they would get together and agree on one design we might benefit from economy of scale of production.
The Paynes ones were very steep before they stopped producing. Not feasable if you need quite a few to make splits and expandAnd the vendors might benefit from more people buying them. I have a few Payne's poly nuc boxes, but at present prices there's no way I'm going to buy more from anywhere unless they sort their lives out with regards to compatibility. I'd rather just make my own.

Totally agree but to make up some early three frame nucs these are idealLooks like a variation on the BS/Maisemore exterior box format. Yes, though I found that it to be unworkable to vary the use of a box from 3 to 6f, because once the division wall is propolised in place it is difficult to remove and replace it without a lot of scraping and fiddling and swearing. BS acknowledged (tacitly) that a flimsy Correx divider was not a good solution and offer a solid board to replace it. I made the job simple by keeping a few 3f boxes divided permanently and the rest as 6f.three frame nucs
