Neighbour wants a bumble bee nest moved

They have built this nest on the floor of a shed but is getting dismantled, anyhow my question is if I wait till say 8.30pm could I gather them up, put the nest and bees in a box and relocate them? If so what sort of box/container could be used? I will post pics if they work!
 
Bumbles often spend nights out if the weather is fine so expect some returnees looking for home tomorrow.
 
You could put them in a shoe box.

I got stung trying to move a nest for an elderly neighbour who was terrified of them. I also wasn't sure that they survived, which was upsetting too. They were flying the next day, but there were fewer and I wondered about the 3 foot/ 3 mile rule and whether it applies to bumbles. I moved them about a mile and a half.

I think they were Bombus hypnorum
