I have a mix of nectar and honey that ive strained from some large amounts of brace comb. Is this useable? Ive got about 1.5litres.

Check it with a refractometer. If it has a water content over 20% then it won't keep so either make mead or bake with it or dilute it with more water and feed back to the colony in a miller feeder for winter feed.

Cheers. Would a refractometer used for brewing work???

I'm sure it would work, but not for measuring water in honey.... unless it's incredibly dilute, like the a mead starter.

I wouldn't bother about refractometer, just keep in the fridge and use instead of sugar in your everyday meal.

Gonna make mead i think
