Nadir Double Brood?

No balsam in my/ SteveG's territory. Do you take it off, if so what sort of honey is it?

Last year I had some mixed in with earlier honey. I usually leave it for the bees as the supers are off by the time they are on it.

My bees are on HB (see ghost bees coming back), but I don’t think they bring in a lot. I’m looking at some hives weight every 2-3 days and not much increase.

I'm the same; I was getting excited that we would get a small, late crop and was putting off treating a couple of colonies. A quick check yesterday shows they aren't storing much for the longer term. Travelling to and from the river and raising a fair bit of brood is probably where it's going.
