Didnt often use butter .
Always needed to be bunged in the microwave before I could spread it.

Started using it again last year..Different brand. Cheap. Special offer etc.

Then this year I get told I have high cholestral.......

What sort of chocolater to you eat? Dark or light?

Chocolate.

Eggs?

Several a week.

Cheese?

Yep. All the things I have grown up with as "being good for you"

Skimmed milk!!!!!!!!!!!!

White water more like.
Milk should be in a bottle with cream on the top for pouring on cornflakes.

as per enrico - looks like bottom and top of the dripping bowl, respectively.

Several years ago I heard Sarah Kennedy on the radio asking what dripping was.

She had absolutely no idea.. Not even enough sense to look it up and find out, and she used to be a teacher,

She also said she had seen a sign saying "Pallets wanted" and was asking what a pallet was.

That's a word SWMBO hates!

we only have butter in our house.
As my grandfather would say - doesn't matter how poor we were we always had butter in the house - never that processed whale fat stuff - margarine. Lived until he was ninety so not too bad

Still remember his last words

'F*&K ME! a BUS!'

Propably bad because he donated them away
I was considering asking money for them but the financial gain would only have paid for about 10 litres of LPG for the car. Thats about enough to propel it for approx 20 miles, so I didnt bother.
