Moving a virgin queen

Collected a swarm that will probably have a virgin queen.
Rather than wait for eggs I’m thinking of merging now with a Q- hive. If the virgin Q hasn’t finished mating flights would it reorientate if I moved the nuc 3+ miles & merged?

I know the lack of drones!
Collected the swarm 7 days ago so Q will already have been on mating flights .

How do you know it's a VQ ?
Likely this late I would hedge my bets she is a layer.
I collected a swarm last Friday from a school, put it in an out apiary in BS BS nat deep with 6lbs of fondant, checked today and 6 frames of bees with the Q laying . Four frames have eggs and unsealed.

Checked today & no eggs/brood, but still very early if a virgin.
