Thornes...they're excellent little nucs aren't they? The only problem I can see is it being tricky if you want to get frames pre-drawn in a BS National hive or want to exchange brood in either direction. I think they're based on a fraction of Dadant sizes.

Yes there the ones! Thank you.
I run commercial hives. Swaping frames isn’t an option.
But saw Richard Noel using a super, split. That takes all the mini frames to get them started.

The abelo one is great you can raise 2 queens in each nuc plus it has a top feeder
