Too many - but not nearly enough
I see the damn tories are at it again - not only are they hell bent on starving the common people and taking away all our public services but just to rub our noses in it they want to call the August bank holiday Margaret Thatcher day !!!!!!
Well, at least the pyrotechnics industry will have a boost - another fireworks night with less chance of rain spoiling play whilst all the kids can dance around the bonfire while we burn an effigy of the soulless B****rd

Thatcher was bad enough but these ba*!*rds are evil. A woman today was sent a letter to try and get her back into work and she has been in a coma for two months!!!
The sooner they are out the better. Any of them must be better than this shower!!!!

This is an old story that does the rounds and one they called for when she was alive. Don't loose any sleep over it as it will never happen.

It sounds as though you might have moved on from the Castle and Lion and possibly discovered Chibuku ... it might not be doing your blood pressure any good! :)
Try some of the Cape wines. IIRC the Niederburg reds were cheap, widey available and very drinkable!

Anyway, I didn't think Thatcher had approved of Bank Holidays ...

Patron saint of the Falkland Islands

The only thing the bitch did right - but that doesn't mean that she wasn't an evil creature who should have been buried face down at a crossroads with a stake through her heart.

I'm in Pitseng the main drag is a row of tin sheds and two barns/chinese grocery stores and It's a long trek from my cottage up to the 'town' so it's been green tea since Monday night!

Yes - I heard that, didn't like people having time off work which is strange as she'd put most of the poor sods on the dole queue anyway

No - - there's a debate in parliament this week apparently.new petition started by 38 degrees demanding they drop the idea (either that or dig her up and bury her at........................)

And the Russians want to rename Petrograd Stalingrad as nobody knows where Petrograd is !

Can we blame the Bloody Tories for that ?

Yes - the tories' treatment of the lower classes of this land are reminiscent of the treatment the peasants had during the tzarist regime which caused the Russian revolution which..........................

One dear couple in the Village, who are on a very low income, are being forced to move house simply because they have one too many bedrooms, how inconsiderate is that?
Then their disabled daughter who lives away from home will not be able to visit!

Doris has offered to give up her room for the daughter and sleep in the caravan, so that their daughter can visit.

I bet Cameron has a few spare rooms in one of his vast mansions!

Makes me want to cry!

no one around my village will celebrate thatcher day. most of them were coal miners . mentioning her name can start a row.
