Thanks guys,

The printed Indie has a close up of the same photo as in the Grauniad - though the Grauniad has been re-sized in an unflattering way (I don't need any more lateral enhancment, thank you very much).

The Grauniad online is a much fuller article.

The Indie one with Bez holding the frame is interesting.
I had a row with his entourage, who wanted to have him photographed holding the frame, without a suit on. I laid it on the line how totally unacceptable that was: people getting the wrong idea about how to handle bees and ignoring the risks thereof, children seeing a pop star doing it and emulating it - and said I wouldn't be associated with it. Eventually they agreed and he put a jacket and gloves on.

Previously he'd been boasting about handling bees without any protection - last week forgetting to do up his flies and describing quite graphically where and how he'd be stung! That didn't make it to the papers, I see!

But I enjoyed time with them. At least they have ideals and are trying to foster understanding, tolerance and a simpler, more innocent lifestyle. Dusty
But still rake in as much benefits as possible paid for by us conventional living prols!

It made one of the online reports I noticed this morning

Couldn't find the report about the bees in flies just now - obtained it this morning using my half hour a day personal internet surfing allowance in work (considering we didn't have access to the net on the boats, I calculate they owe me about 3,182 and a half hours!) I can't even remember what paper it was in.

Edit - yes I can http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/bez-backing-urban-beekeeping-scheme-123334792.html

 Just found out this Bez character's commune is even closer to me than I though (local press are enquiring at our BKA for directions) closer still to Troedyrhiw and Redwood!! - something you're not telling us guys?

[Mind you, we were very charitable in not forewarning them about you.]

Don't worry - I'm on the case SBI is primed and I'm wondering if I can get the hounds to run riot around them this winter, same as they do with the lot at Cwmdu (it really gets their hands wringing! :D)
Just had this message from one of our members -
'Yes I know someone who knows them. He tells me they are very natural beeks with total refusal to treat for varroa or anything else. I don't think they welcome involvement with us.'
