Leave light supers on during winter?

How much space would colonies need for autumn/winter foraging?

Will their stores increase much (if at all) from now until spring?

Not sure whether to leave relatively empty supers on over winter. Excessive space in the hive, and all that...

(One super has 4 frames of stores. The other has only a couple of frames partly drawn out).
