Just done my first split

Update: I went into the nuc today and found and marked the queen. There were some eggs so I think all is well there .

In the original hive there were loads of emergency cells which I took down, just leaving the one that I originally chose when I did the split. There was still quite a lot of open larvae in the hive…hopefully I’m right in thinking they can’t make any more emergency cells from this? Split was done on 1st and today being 7th. Or will I need to go back through them again in a few days?

Maybe I was early going in to knock them down today but I had the time to do it today so I went for it. I’m pretty tied up at the moment so I’ve got to make the most of the chances I get
