Joining Hoffman to DN4 frames

If i have 4 hoffmans in the centre of a smith brood, from a nuc i got, and the rest are plastic spacers, do i just gradually move them towards the edges until they are used for stores so i can then remove them?

They are currently in the centre with brood on.
