add qe and drawn super (i added a 2nd BB but (before advice from here) above the first one/nest, not sure if i should rectify and place below)

move strong buckfast double nuc colony into national with additional BB below (foundation) and qe and super (undrawn above). Still feels lots of space being added all of a sudden.

both small swarms on 3 frames in poly nucs with laying queens - leave alone

What happened to the "5 frames capped brood & 5/6 frames drawn out above"?

Previously;

make sure they have enough room because otherwise before you know it they have made a queen cell and are ready to do one

yup...we go away fro 10 days in two weeks time...see where they get to

24 days is plenty of time to be off with your prime queen and you return to a colony half the size with doubtful provenance ?

Do you know any likely provenance or what their build rate is likely to be? ?

no...two small swarms with unmarked laying queens (who look fat)
