Politicians do as well !
Spot on.I haven't. Is it becoming less "careful"?
Slightly at a tangent....When I first opened my practice the only person who could own a veterinary practice was an MRCVS
Are these the private GPs you see springing up all over the place?........likewise many (medical) general practices - owned by hedge funds etc..........
I'm in danger of pontificating in a field I know little about: please step in @drex & @SuttyAre these the private GPs you see springing up all over the place?
One thought though, part of it discusses prolonging the period a licenced product is protected before generics are allowed.
Dear Neil,
Defra Review of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 - Public Consultation
A period of public consultation on proposed changes to the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 is currently ongoing.
This is an opportunity for BFA members, amongst others, to share their views on the proposed changes as they apply in Great Britain.
Please see: Review of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 - Defra - Citizen Space
The deadline to respond is 31 March 2023.
So someone else could mix some crap with OA and compete with Apibioxal? One thought though, part of it discusses prolonging the period a licenced product is protected before generics are allowed.
This could further prolong the period before there's a generic licenced OA on the market. Apibioxal protection due to run out 24/25 IIRC, already protected longer than some other meds.
Almost... Generics don't have to be identical, just functionally similar (wording more specific than that) so a pure generic should be possible. So someone else could mix some crap with OA and compete with Apibioxal?
I can't imagine that happening. I assume someone would have to get it all approved tho. Still gonna be expensive.Almost... Generics don't have to be identical, just functionally similar (wording more specific than that) so a pure generic should be possible.
That jogged a memory of having dental work done by a guy in Tortola when I was working out the in late ‘88. I’d got an infection in a tooth crowned 2 weeks before in UK. He drilled through the crown, sorted the infection and filled the top of the crown. He charged me very little and I only lost that tooth recently. It’s replacement is going to be £3.5k!I once sailed from Cape Town to Tortola Virgin Islands and lost a filling from a tooth.
I stopped in Salvador Brazil for treatment and to fix a torn spinikar sail
I went to a one man band dentist near the port who did an excellent job for just a few pounds.it was a basic setup but did the job
Thinking of moving to Wales so we had the estate agent around. What happened to vocation? I’m getting old. We live in a world where there is a price for everything and a value for nothing.
My son is a talented musician/composer ... having composed the music for three TV series he worked out that his hourly rate worked out at about £1.50 an hour and they wanted to keep the copyright and royalties .... He no longer composes commercially but enjoys his music for his own pleasure - and is training to be an electrical engineer. Music is a very undervalued profession unless you get lucky and get recognised for the talent you have ... or are willing to self promote and network to the point where you get noticed - and even then .. it's almost impossible to make a decent living on a consistent basis. Unless you happen to be Hans Zimmer or John Williams ...Thinking of moving to Wales so we had the estate agent around.
Young guy , tweed jacket, pointy brown shoes.
He commented on the seven guitars I had on display.
"I used to play bass but there wasn't any money in it so I gave up "
My missus had to stop me throwing the tw*t out !
