I am no expert... but there is some incredible reading out there on insect vision which leads me to ask what sight is?

The advantage of the forum, is that advice comes from experienced people, and advice that doesn't is easily discernable. Unfortunately with Google there is plenty of brown stuff.

I was reading about the compound eyes earlier on today and that alone is unbelievable.
