The honey I took off to let me start varroa treatment is borderline for water content so as an experiment my OH baked some plain buns but simply used honey as a direct replacement for the sugar in the recipe.
The result has been a success with golden buns that have a light fluffy texture.
Maybe next time we will have honey buttercream icing and make butterfly buns. :)
