Pete,

The very reason I odered mine in December!it looks like he added 5% as the yearly repricing, then there was the addtional VAT. On top of that a change in dicount starting points and delivery costs. Mine (if I had purchased now) would he been free of delivery costs if the full value (before discount) was the deciding factor but £6.45 if the nett cost was the value used for deciding delivery cost.

Regards, RAB

I didn't get anyone's hopes up, for sure. What you were doing was commendable, and had it worked would have been a real feather in your cap, but the reality was that it was never going to happen on the almost National scale anticipated, because of the logistics and I would have thought that you would perhaps have recognised a hiding to nothing at an early stage when it was staring you in the face.

Cold wax, icy days, if a hundred sheets of wax become cracked, who would have been wanting to foot the loss or inconvenience three nodes away from KBS in the distribution chain.

PeteInWilts has gone ahead, but the smaller scale is in scope and more manageable.

The thinking perhaps should have been not to make a large single buy, but to identify regional buys that can be put together to break the max discount and free delivery on offer. Beyond that, it becomes an "A" class answer to a "B" class problem.

It would offer the same potential savings in restricted geographical networks. Late perhaps, but that's my belated contribution to to the venture. Made by observation of what has happened since you announced your unavailability due to your the unexpected problems with your business affairs.

I do understand that your business/livelyhood has to come first and would not care to suggest otherwise, but you should have been astute enough to realise that the venture was likely to be impractical as it was envisaged. I know that just coming back from three weeks holiday dealing with my mail takes a lot of time, without having to fire fight business issues as well.

Other than that, I hope that you had a relaxing holiday and enjoyed yourself. :)
