I am newish to the forum but tried to post a for sale advert after paying £15 by PayPal. It told me that my advert would be passed to the admin people but after a month and several emails have heard nothing. I feel a bit cheated - is this a normal experience ?

Hi Garry, welcome to the forum, although i see you actually joined over three years ago, not quite a month since you posted your first add, 28th Jan, the second one was on 9th Feb, the reason your for sale posts have not appeared is because you are a commercial seller, so your adverts are not allowed on this forum as it is commercial free.

It would have been nice to have been told that before you pay to advertise. I am not a commercial seller. I have requested a refund but have had no reply by way of explanation from admin which would have been the least courtesy one would expect.

If you had read the forum rules in the last three and a half years since you joined, you would of seen.

I'm sure Admin will sort out any problems you have.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I had not realised that from the tone of many of the ads. I didn't want to be awkward - I think the forum does a great job.
