Just a note introduce myself. I am based up near Colchester and this is my first year. I have two hives and all is well. I am a member of the BBKA Colchester division. Have been looking at the forum for a few weeks and have have picked up lots of tips. Hope to be a contributor as knowledge increases.
Thanks for having me.

You do realise there's no cure for it?

Once addicted to the Forum, there's no turning back.

First, you start dipping in occasionally.
Then every day you have to log on - "Just for a quick look."
It soon becomes several hours a day.
You can't log off.
You decide to ask questions and keep checking anxiously if there are any replies.
You start to obsess about matchsticks.
You start squabbling with others about neonicotinoids.
You might even turn to (dare I say it?) poly hives, TBHs and Warres.

"I can handle it," you say. "I can log off any time I want."
But you can't. You need a quick fix every hour at work
You take your laptop on holiday.

Listen to an old addict, me boy: quit while you can.
Get out whilst you still have some self-respect and sanity left.
And if you can't go cold-turkey, step down to the BKA website.
It may not give you the same thrill, but you might remain a useful and respected member of society.

Save yourself.........

Dusty
