Any app that could interact with other people's app would be fun. Your bees could swarm to neighbouring player's sites where they could be caught or if they don't get them in time they disappear again.

Sim Apiary rather than Sim Hive though.

you could identify the different types of bee, the guard bees, scouts, comb builders etc .... sort of a "World of Beecraft" ..... sorry !

how about a simple modification of kerplunk?

the balls have faces of the great and the good of the BBKA on them and you have to pull out matchsticks.
