In your blogspot it says: Smoking also swarm with akonizia acts against Âáññüá Google Translate cannot translate Âáññüá is it Varroa by any chance?
Checked the Royal Horticultural Website and Dittrichia viscosa is on there and also specimens held in the RHS Herbarium at Wisley. Very interesting.

Yes Anduril, we mainly use it for Varroa mites. It is very potent by the way!
We put the buds on top of the frames and floor/entrance so each bee will "squeeze through" the plant's sticky resin.
Besides beekeeping, Dittrichia Viscosa infused, was a common folk remedy for centuries in the Mediterranean area.
