Heather Honey

Due to collect my first crop of heather honey (between 10-12 supers full) and have lots of questions:

1. What's the best way to extract? I have a 100litre apple press that I was planning on using but is there any way to preserve the drawn comb or use an extractor?

2. How much do you sell a pound of heather honey for. I was thinking around £10?

3. DO you mix you heather honey with anything else in order to reduce the water content or stick to a pure heather honey (mine will be pretty much pure as the supers went on as foundation and there is not much else in flower on the moors)

What do you mean by preserve the comb, I am assuming you mean to store either the frames whole or the cut comb?

extract the honey from the comb without unduly damaging the comb so it can be re-used

I didn't think there was any way to extract it except to press it out, which leaves the comb flattened. Especially if it's ling, which I guess it is, at this time of year.

More than one way. All require the agitating of the honey before extracting tangentially
