Across the Tasman I was surprised to see this bush covered in beetles...but just a couple of honey bees.

Is that a Manuka?

Yes, I reckon it's the scoparium.

It was also feeding what looked like the native Flower Wasp.

she probably senses it's boxing day tomorrow (all mine seemed to know the date) and an opportunity to do what they were born to do

Did notice she coped with the November 5th explosions quite well. Not phased by loud noises at all. Is seems to be faint rustling noises that set her off. She’s quite small but can make an exceedingly large noise!
