Greetings from Torbay

Not so sunny Torbay ATM :\

New to beekeeping this year though went to the local branches apiary all through last year and did a beginners beekeeping course over the winter, then bought a bunch of equipment off someone who had decided bees weren't for him. So now we (me and the wife) have 4 colonies in varying states. The previous owner had not been able to look after them very well so they were in a bit of a sad state when we bought them, but they're now well on the road to recovery with the help of mentors etc

Not really sure what else to put here TBH, my name is James and I'm fortysomething, starting to sound like a dating ad now.. Probably best if I shut up...

You seem to have got off to a good start and in the right order.

In a previous life we moved from London to Brixham to get hitched, 45 years later we are still hitched but in Okehampton now, less warm and a lot more rain.
