Hi List,
I'm from Roscommon right in the Irish midlands. I'm new to beekeeping but I have a few hives and thankfully they all seem to be doing well after a very wet winter. I generally make my own hives and I steer away from some of the conventional beekeeping habits. That may well be to my determent or to my advantage, but we will have to wait and see. I'm looking forward to sharing info and learning from you guys.

Lovely day here in Roscommon today. I'm just in after giving the girls their last bit of fondant to see them through the next few weeks. Can't wait for the season to get going and to open the hives for a good peek inside.

Hi Psafloyd I'm not anywhere near Ballyhaunis, I'm a bit further south in Kilroosky near Lough Ree, and what a day it is here today. Lovely sunshine and hardly a cloud in sight.
