Gmail on IPAD

any tips for using Gmail on a IPAD, setting up my old iPad for someone with a gmail account, does anyone recommend MAIL or Gmails App?

i normally use my cloud email which syncs perfectly but i have read that gmail is not so good any thoughts?

I use gmail. It works fine but I also have my gmail sent to the mail on my ipad. The gmail app works like gmail on a pc with tabs and labels but I find that the ios7 mail works just as well with gmail but without the tabs. Don't like the tabs anyway! The iOS mail is quicker to load than gmail but both work fine!

If you should decide to use Mail, do the user (and the world) a favour by editing the default signature ...

also turn off icloud mail, otherwise i have found on both iphone and ipad mine keeps defaulting back to [email protected] as the return email address
