Made some beeswax tea lights and aromatherapy melts, to get ahead for Xmas gifts and nights by the logfire (since our old electric Aga is banned from going on this year!).
Have you got any beeswax projects planned?

I did various burn tests last year and this:

Last year
NT wick 35 largest flame (too large) one tea light only lasted 90mins, 2nd just 105mins

NT 26 smallest flame (slightly) 2 1/4 hrs - 2 1/2 hours

Nt23 medium flame both lasted 2 1/4 hrs

This year
NT26 and NT23 in the deep foils. Equal burn time and very similar flame size. Both lasted 3 hours.

I’ve had friends tell me they buy beeswax tea lights on line and get 4 hours burn time so thinking next year I’ll probably try smaller NT wicks

How does this compare to your results?
