Not related to anything really except a great singer at probably one of the best concerts ever staged. Levon Helm not worthy

The poignancy with hindsight of this clip, particularly Manuel's eyes when the camera and lights move to him always gets me.

Yes, and for me the contrast between the four for whom music is everything - Danko, Helm, Manuel and Hudson and the businessman Robbie Robertson. The eyes don't match the facial expression.

Chris B's honey beer is rather special if you can get hold of it.

Agreed,
on my second one of the evening. Called in and saw Chris a couple of months back and picked up 4 cases, ( one for Bee-key-pur).
Would like to get over again before Christmas.............ahhh did I say that word
with 12 weeks to go.

Have you made another batch yet Chris

Bottle of Sawtooth ale for me, roasted cashew and Ramble at the Ryman on the deck. I'm happy enough. :music-smiley-014:

Ha. it depends from which site you are looking at it. Thanks for the label. i dont do that for beer anymore cos i drink it faster then it is bottle conditioning. If you wanna know how i do the wine and beer: i started a blog: www.priono.co.uk

I beat you you to it. I had seen the web address on the label and have gone through it. Have a reasonable library on the whole self-sufficiency thing myself. The one that starts most people off is Self-sufficiency by John and Sally Seymour. For the beekeeping, in my opinion, Donald Sims' Sixty Years with Bees is one of the better recent ones. Have only done kit home brew so far but thinking about cider as I have loads of apples.

You will have to ask about stock levels Pete. Chris has been a bit busy . . . failed to book good weather for the late spring and summer!

Down at Blandford Forum a few years back at an end of course bash, the CO looking to order another beer, asked a colleague of mine, "Which is the best sort of badger you can recommend". "A dead one, sir", was the reply. I missed the beer recommendation as I was too busy chuckling. I never saw the CO as a humourous person, before or after . . .

I found that Tanglefoot didn't leave an after taste that I could ever remember.

Scottish beer to-night ..... Harviestouns' Bitter and Twisted .... Quite nice too:scotland-flag:
