17degress and overcast but brightening later here in sussex

two hives are as busy as ive ever seen them....complete frenzy at the entrances - no fighting, but laden with pollen...maybe just an autumn spurt to prepare for winter?

Isn’t that a lovely sight.
Mine are bringing ivy pollen with the occasional bee loaded with bright orange Dahlia, probably

Lots if orientation of new bees and still the odd drone buzzing around noisily in the autumn sunshine.

Wonderful

I second that , mine are the same but without the drones . I'll never get bored of watching bee's orientating.
I feel as excited as the bee's look when they come out of the entrance ..

Ours seem to be as acvtive as we have ever seen them and they are finding so much pollen, just about every other bee was carrying pollen 2 days ago.

Same here, Very active, but no Drones sighted now for weeks! Ivy flow just started, guessing that's what's got them going.
