I have have come out early with a cup of tea to examine the coming and goings of my new friends. They are very active and bringing in huge amounts of bright orange and white pollen.
I have finally seen brood on a new frame so I think we might have turned a corner. 🤔

Its a huge feeling of satisfaction and relief when things start to improve. This is my first year and im humbled by their ability to soldier on despite my fumblings mistakes and mishaps..

I must say that it is a huge relief but I realise that I am not out of the meadows yet. I joined my local BKA and obtained help and training from them and help from my first course mentor who is a retired BKI. However, I joined this forum to learn from people that have been doing it for years and I have found it invaluable.
Millet has been a local hero to me in providing me with help and encouragement. :winner1st:
The other thing I noticed this morning is that some bees get attention from other bees at the entrance. Almost like grooming. Are they getting relieved of their bounty so they can go back out?
