File attachments

I have just added a file attachment to another post, but had to delete a previous one I had attached on an old thread due to a limit to uploaded attachments.

I knew that each file uploaded had a max size, but did not realise that they all added up?

I guess like pictures I link in that is the best way?

I'm probably being thick here - Is it possible to add a file attachment (.pdf) to a PM?
