Due to a moderate anaphylactic reaction with my wife and circumstances leaving me with very little free time I’m sadly giving up beekeeping, and wish to sell all my equipment and bees.
I would give priority to anyone who gave me a reasonable offer for the entire lot, rather than splitting. Inspection is no problem and I’ll happily arrange for this at a mutually convenient time.
I’m in Guildford: PM me if you are interested.
Equipment for sale
About 140kg of honey in buckets
11 full supers waiting to be extracted
3 Hives on Double brood
5 Hives on Single brood
All hives were QR at last inspection (within the last couple of weeks)
Most equipment is Swienty National Polyhive. There are some Thorntons red cedar , and a small amount of homebuilt supers
Considerable amount of additional equipment including
420* 12oz hexagonal jars and lids
120* 4oz hexagonal jars and lids
Thornes steam wax extractor
4 frame electric honey extractor (bought from Park Beekeeping)
Needle heather honey agitator device (this was nearly £100 new)
Double stainless steel honey strainer
Full sherriff bee suit
3 mating hives (wormholtz type )(?spelling?)
2 Paynes poly nuclei
Various empty honey buckets
65 sheets super foundation (mix of wired/non wired) from Kemble bee supplies
50 sheets brood foundation - all wired, again from Kemble bee supplies
Lots of other routine stuff - excluders/ hive tools/ other odds and sods.
