I know this is not bees but I have been sorting my photo's out and getting rid of a lot of rubbish. I came across the wing tip of a dragon fly and it immediately struck me as a most intricate pattern. Its marvelous.

Amazing! Thank you for posting these - they really are like Stained Glass Windows- maybe thats where the idea came from?
