Dragon fly wing

I know this is not bees but I have been sorting my photo's out and getting rid of a lot of rubbish. I came across the wing tip of a dragon fly and it immediately struck me as a most intricate pattern. Its marvelous.

To add to my previous reply I have tried Anatomy of a Dragon fly, Wing Venation of Dragon flies, and plain Dragonfly.

Plenty about the veins and the fore and rear wing but nothing of the makeup of the wing its self.
