Hello everybody, just joined the forum, hive always fancied having some bees for years,i thought this year im going to make an effort, and put a order in for a new hive, then my kids said they would buy me one for my 60th,then a friend said I will give you a hive which he did, then he started a nuc off for me,which are going very strong I just hope they make it through the winter, and then I met a lovely lady who said her father was a beekeep but last year past away, she asked me if I would like his beekeeping suits and extractors,so I have been very lucky, and I have now started to keep some bees of my own, I just hope I do them all justice, especially the bees.cheers guys.:thanks:

Welcome Dogrun ... should be an interesting start and a fast learning curve ... read the books, join an association, do the introductory course and you might start and understand half of what's said here ... and that's only if you can stand the strain of looking into the madhouse !!

Good luck with it all.
